PROJECT STRUCTURE
The main goal of this project is to promote and support the networking and coordination of research and innovation activities in the field of universal design of accessibility systems for public transport between a comprehensive group of stakeholders (end users, designers and manufacturers, operators, authorities) with a view to achieve quality and equality of access to public transport in the E.U. Significant dissemination and society awareness of this work will also be necessary to maximize the benefits of the project.
The work in this project is divided in 5 WorkPackages:
- The first one, Management, has as objective ensures that consortium works efficiently and all the information is available for all the partners.
- In the Work Package 2 we will review the state of the art to adquire knowledge and stablish a basis in wich new ideas can be generated and new designs can be developed.
- In the WP3, we identify concepts for new accesibility devices that can be used by people with or without mobility problems.
- The WP4 consists of improving the innovation proccess in the field of transport accessibility with the aim to break the communication barriers existing nowadays.
- The aim of WP5 is project results dissemination to all the E.U. stakeholders who can facilitate the general adoption of universal accessibility systems to public transport.
